MALIK DEENAR COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, established by Kasaragod Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA). Kasaragod Muslim Welfare Association is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act of 1886 (S.No.42 of 1972). The institution is an outcome of the vision of its founder Chairman Janab K.S.Abdullah (1933-2007) to empower the society with quality education. MALIK DEENAR COLLEGE OF PHARMACY (MDCP) is situated in scenic location at seethangoli, Kasaragod.

Janab K.S. Abdullah was one of the few philanthropists Kasaragod has ever seen. He was known for his charity works, including the establishment of Kasaragod Muslim Welfare Association(KMWA) in 1973. There are many other institutions and establishments (including Malik Deenar Charitable Hospital, Nursing College etc at Thalangara).
